Good PR

In PR we love a bit of creativity and people who think a bit differently. And that’s exactly what this jobseeker did.

Fed up of being rejected application after application, he decided to wrap his CV around a chocolate bar and turned it into a chocolate label, replacing ingredients with a description of his experience and nutrition information by the level of his skills . The effort definitely worked, as his CV since went viral after one of his friends posted a picture of it on Reddit.

There have been quite a few ‘ outstanding’ CVS over the news in the last few months (you probably heard about the Amazon CV, the guy advertising himself and spending his last £500 on a billboard in London, etc) and showing a bit of creativity is surely the way to go nowadays!

You might not have heard about it, but @10yetis received a pretty cool plane CV himself!

So well done Nicholas! And good luck with the job hunting.

Bad PR

He has had some pretty bad press since Amy Winehouse passed away back in July 2011 and Blake Fielder-Civil has today seemingly taken responsibility for Amy Winehouse’ heroin addiction.

Blake Fielder-Civil has taken part into an exclusive interview on Jeremy Kyle’s show and opened up about his relationship with Amy Winehouse and how his drug addiction lead to letting her try, use and subsequently get addicted to heroin; before getting married to the singer.

He earlier declared he ‘was there when Amy had (heroin) for the first time, it was my doing, I don't think she'd ever experienced it without me.’ Blake was still in Prison when he was informed about Amy Winehouse’s death by a prison staff but thought it was only an internet hoax.

Blake has since battled his own addictions following a successful rehab and is now expecting his second child with current girlfriend Sarah Aspin. Although no one can be blamed for his addictions, his confessions have whipped the media into quite a fury today- and it certainly hasn’t been good news for him.
