Hey Y'all! It's Hannah with today's edition of Good and Bad PR. Enjoy!

Good PR

This is a story to make you all take a moment and think ‘awwwww’ on your hectic Friday.
After paying a visit to Dunkin Doughnuts, Samantha Ford, a mother of two and whose boyfriend is serving in Afghanistan, discovered an envelope on her car windscreen. Expecting the worst, she cursed as the walked to her car, anticipating finding a parking fine. When she actually looked inside the white envelope, she discovered two $20 bills and a heartfelt note.

The note read: 'I noticed the sticker on the back of your car, take your hero out to dinner when he comes home. Thank you both for serving. Him deployed and you for waiting. –United States veteran. God bless.'

Samantha guessed the kind hearted veteran had spotted her bumper sticker '1/2 of my heart is in Afghanistan'.

This is some brilliant PR for the US army, US veterans and general goodness of human kind.

Bad PR

WARNING! If you are about to start tucking into any type of meal, you may want to wait to read this story until after you have digested your food.

Lewis Newton was tucking into his ASDA smart price beef and onion pie, when to his horror he discovered... a fingernail! #VOM

Lewis revealed 'I was just about to take a mouthful when I happened to look down and saw a nail sticking out. I was absolutely disgusted, and ran to the toilet to be sick. I am so glad I did not take the next mouthful.’

Lewis also made known that this experience has put him of pies for life!

Lewis returned his pie to the store in Kent, where he was offered a refund on the pie and £40 as a gesture of good will.

Asda came off quite well in the horsemeat saga, until recently when it was revealed that their smart price corned beef contained 50% horse meat. Moral of the story... stay away from anything smart price beef related.

You can now all continue with your meals!
