It was TechCrunch's 2nd Birthday yesterday and how could we let the momentous occasion pass without doffing our cap in their general direction. It still remains a must read blog for all things tech related and has one of the most vociferous communities known to man.

Bad Public Relations
Over in Beijing the Olympics are in full swing and our swimmers are getting a swarm of good publicity thanks to 14 year old Tom Daley. He is a diving sensation but today he and Blake Adlridge (24) came bottom in the synchronised diving.

Whilst the 14 year old Tom said they both did not dive well as a pair, the 24 year old Aldridge ladi the boot into the teenager by saying it was all his fault they came last.

Aldridge said he felt that the 14 year old (competing in the Olympics for the first time in his life) did not perform as well as he could.

Crikey, with team mates like Aldridge, Daley does not need enemies!
