10 Yetis Examples of Good and Bad PR - Thursday 4th of April 2012

Apr 5th 2012

Today's examples come from the wonderful Work Experience Yeti - Charlotte

Good PR
Vogue UK is hosting its first festival at London's Royal Geographic Society in a couple of weeks, with an incredible line up of speakers including Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney, Nigella Lawson and Lily Cole. The gold VIP tickets have already sold out, and with the rest of the tickets for this fashion forward event going fast at £75 for half a day, this will probably be a good source of income as well as wonderful PR for Vogue and all the other big names involved.

Public Relations

Bad PR

Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole are both busy giving each other bad PR as they conduct a rather public dispute through the press. Cheryl Cole accused Louis Walsh of having provided negligible management for Girls Aloud, apart from sending them to 'fat camp', in the early days of their career. Louis Walsh variously responded that "our friendship is over", that he had no idea what she was talking about, and that he would like to give her "a piece of my mind".

Neither character is left unscathed, although with Cheryl set to make a comeback with her new single, she probably doesn't have too much to worry about!
