10 Yetis Examples of Good and Bad PR - Wednesday 2nd of May 2012

May 2nd 2012

Good PR:

Once all the Yetis had opened their emails and logged on to Twitter this morning the first conversation was the news of FHM's top 100 women of 2012. I am sure you all know that the X Factor judge and sex tape connoisseur, Tulisa tops the poll. Shocked? Yeh, we were as well.

PR Agency

Great PR for FHM though, Twitter is going nuts (oh, cheeky pun there) and so are news websites such as The Daily Mail and Yahoo! Poor old Tulisa must have been heart broken when that sex tape was leaked to the press, and to think, people were calling it a PR stunt! What would she have had to gain? Oh, wait...

Bad PR:

There is nothing like starting a night out in the glorious surroundings of a Wetherspoon pub. This is why the news of the brands expansion was well received and very much anticipated. But before you get excited and pull on your rebook classics and pop on your baseball cap at a jaunty angle, I would suggest you read today's bad PR.

News reports today are reporting that the JD Wetherspoon expansion has to be slowed after receiving a £50 million increase in its annual tax bill. However, throughout the slightly negative story there are little nuggets of gold such as the 3,000 jobs the chain has recently created as a result of its expansion.
