10 Yetis Examples of Good and Bad PR - Thursday 17th of May 2012

May 17th 2012

Good PR:
The power that is celebrity has waived its magic wand over Zaggora's Hotpants and as a result today the media is raving about the calorie burning work-out leggings. According to news reports today, celebs such as Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby, Tess Daly and The Saturdays all own a pair of the leggings and simply couldn't work out without them.

They sound like a bit of bargain if you ask me, for just fifty quid the trousers will help the person wearing them burn up to four times the number of calories that they would burn during a regular workout wearing 'normal' attire.

I would love to see the sales Zaggora's Hotpants generate today. The power of celeb and PR at its best.

Bad PR:
Not everyone can be as organised and efficient as me (I will be careful that my halo doesn't slip and strangle me), so many people have to pop to the shops at lunch and pick up a sandwich. Well, you may want to think twice about this now. A piece in today's Daily Mail has reported that the high street sandwiches are secretly packed with calories.

Public Relations

Yep, not a massive surprise; but still a pretty negative piece of coverage for the likes of Pret a Manger as they seem to be the worst corporate for fatty sarnies.
