10 Yetis Examples of Good and Bad Public Relations- Friday 15th June 2012

Hello Everybody! Emma here with today's Good and Bad PR. Have a cracking weekend!

Good PR
Today's Good PR goes to a cracking series of photographs entitled 'The Dollhouse' by Dina Goldstein, which have received some really nice national coverage on the likes of the Mail for their depiction of Barbie & Ken's less than perfect relationship.

That's right, everyone's favourite plastic dolls have been captured in 'real life', showing the dark side of a life with the most perfect doll in the world and her not-so perfect husband. In the pictures, Goldstein depicts Ken as a husband trying not very successfully to conceal his homosexuality from his wife; and Barbie as a woman in the pits of depression due to her crumbling marriage. Barbie even catches Ken cheating on her with another man and cuts her hair off to fit his 'masculine' preferences.

Bad PR

Rumours suggest that Chris Brown and Drake have never seen eye to eye as Drake once (apparently) dated Chris's ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Things came to a head when Chris and Drake were both in the same nightclub in New York; supposedly Chris sent a 'peace offering' bottle of wine to Drake, to which Drake allegedly sent a note back saying "I'm f****** the love of your life, deal with it." (a lot of allegedly and supposedly in there- nothing is confirmed). Reports then say that it turned nasty, and Chris Brown got into a scrap with some members of Drake's "entourage". Bottles were thrown, and Chris Brown got a gash on his chin..

Not great for either star, as it was reported that an innocent female at the nightclub was also injured amidst the fight. Play nice, boys.
