Afternoon, Alexa here with some delightful gut und bahd PR to start things off this week.

Good PR

Today's Good PR goes to Victoria's Secret, which is opening up a new store in London. The underwear brand, famous for its ridiculously good-looking models, has a dedicated base of female - and male - admirers. No one knows the exact opening date of the flagship store on New Bond street, but everyone is waiting in anticipation. Miranda Kerr has said that she hopes to attend. The press are incredibly excited by the news and report that it is yet another continental addition to London's ever-growing internationally renowned luxury shopping scene. Think of it as yet another string to the PR bow of promoting Great Britain on the international stage this Olympic summer.

Bad PR

Today's bad PR goes to TOWIE ladies' footwear of choice, the high heel; after it was reported that Britain are the highest heel-wearers of Europe. This triggered a storm of press that suggested wearing high heels could damage women's feet beyond repair. Notorious high heel addicts like Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole were named as encouragers of a trend that is, reportedly, neither classy or safe. In a summer of sport the media is swerving away from traditionally glamorised images of women to a more practical, sporty and functional ideal. How long this will last for is anyone's guess.
