Good PR

One for the sports fans today, as Good PR goes to Wales rugby coach Warren Gatland, who has been awarded the role of head coach of the British and Irish Lions, who are due to tour Australia next summer. Gatland was hotly tipped for the role, so no big surprise that he bagged the job, but congratulations nonetheless!

Gatland was an assistant to Ian McGeechan during the 2009 tour to South Africa, has been handed the task of guiding the Lions to their first series win in 16 years, so the pressure's on.

The Lions will play nine games during the month-long tour of Australia, including tests in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, as well as a one-off warm up match against the Barbarians in Hong Kong to kick it off.

Bad PR

Bad PR today goes to organic food, as a new US study has suggested that it is no better for you than non-organic foods. Researchers have apparently said that organic produce and meat is no better than conventional food when it comes to vitamin and nutrient content.

The study reviewed more than 200 studies that compared either the health of people who ate organic or conventional foods or, more commonly, nutrient and contaminant levels in the foods themselves. The foods included organic and non-organic fruits, vegetables, grains, meat, poultry eggs and milk. However, organic food does generally reduce exposure to pesticides and antibiotic-resistant bacteria
