Happy Friday everyone, we are in for some sunshine this weekend, I wonder how many red Yetis we will have in the office on Monday. I don’t want to point fingers, but my money is on Shazza!
Good PR:
Anyway, let’s crack on with today’s good PR. It has to go to Sky, who has unveiled its forthcoming new Anytime+ service today. Basically the new service will enable Sky users to build an archive of on-demand movies and TV content over a broadband connection. I know you are all thinking this is just Sky Plus, but you’re wrong. Anytime+ will offer around 1,000 hours of content from Sky Arts, Sky Movies, Sky1 and Sky Sports, along with material from other broadcasters, such as ESPN and National Geographic.
At least if it is a cold winter we all have plenty to watch!
Bad PR:
Many a time I have given bad PR to Ryanair, so today I am give my bad PR to...British Airways. According to a study by insurance provider LV, 1 in 3.8 BA passengers have had their luggage lost, damaged, or delayed in the past five years.
BA said the figure was "complete rubbish" but I can’t really imagine them putting their hands up and admitting to it.
