A Gloucestershire based public relations agency is the first in the UK to use the power of Facebook to help small to medium sized businesses increase their media awareness thanks to holding regular, free, real-time, Question and Answer sessions on the social networking site.

A leading South-West Public Relations Agency is the first in the UK to run regular, free, real-time Question and Answer sessions for small business owners via the social networking site Facebook, starting on April 29th.
The first free Question and Answer session will take place on Tuesday 29th April at 2pm for 2 hours and then on regular monthly intervals. A number of the 10 Yetis team will be on hand to answer any questions including Co-Managing Director Andy Barr.
Those wanting to take part and receive free advice can do so by logging on to Facebook and typing “10 Yetis” into the search box in the top left hand corner of the website.
Alternatively, there is a link to the group on the 10 Yetis website that can be found by visiting www.10yetis.co.uk/yetiblog.
10 Yetis Public Relations Agency already has a growing "Fan Group" of small business owners on Facebook and wanted to identify a way in which it could thank them for all their support.
The company plans to leave all the Question and Answer session responses on Facebook in order to build up an archive of free small business help and advice.
At present the company gives a free daily summary of the Good and Bad News Topics that are in the media via its Facebook group as well as encouraging business owners to read it’s free newsletters that give a range of marketing and public relations advice.
Speaking about the industry first 10 Yetis Managing Director Andy Barr said,
"We set up a Facebook Group sometime ago as a way to interact in a more relaxed and fun style with a number of our existing and potential clients and were amazed that within a fairly short period of time we had over 100 business owners sign up. We were keen to identify a way in which we could thank people for joining up and offer them something that they would not get elsewhere and thought free help and advice sessions were the best way to do this."
He continued,
"We are really fortunate in that we have built up a strong reputation as one of the leading public relations agencies in the small to medium sized enterprise market and as such know that what business owners appreciate the most is information on how they can get more clients and grow their business."
