Celebrity Fashion Website Re-launch Announced
After months of development, re-design and testing, the team behind the UK’s leading independent celebrity fashion website have announced the launch of the new-look website.
The UK’s leading independent celebrity fashion website is celebrating its fifth birthday in true celebrity style, by uncovering a total site makeover. The new format of the site is set to make it easier than ever for users to steal the style of their favourite celebrities.
With more than a million unique users quarterly, www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk is the largest site of its kind in the UK. The affiliate fashion website helps point users in the right direction for garments that match those of their favourite celebrities; with sections for both men and women.
The redesign has seen the new site scrap the ‘shop’ section that appeared on the last version of MyCelebrityFashion and the whole site now has a more clear-cut display; with editorial content a main focus now instead of ‘tagged’ images. The new website still focuses on tagging celebrity outfits with high street or exact versions of their clothing and accessories, but now uses easy-to-navigate blog posts. The team behind the site is keen to promote and shout out about upcoming talent in the fashion blogosphere, with the new addition of the ‘Blogger of the Week’ section.
The site re-launch will become official at a London launch party, which is to be held in conjunction with Macy’s and Bloomingdales on Tuesday 4thSeptember with special VIP guests including Motel Rocks, Beau Bronze and many more.
Speaking about the new website, Bobbie Malpass, Editor at MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, commented:
We loved the old look of the website, but thought that our core message of achieving the celebrity look on a budget was not always as clear as it could have been. We’ve now stripped it back to the bare bones; pure celebrity style and gossip. We had great feedback from our readers that love our approach to find them the best deals on celebrity inspired clothing and outfits and our new ‘Blogger of the Week’ section is set to be very popular.
She continued:
“We have been working very closely with national brands such as Rare London, Girl Meets Dress, Olivia Rubin, Lily Lolo, All Saints, to name a few, and are always on the look for big fashion brands to collaborate with.”
MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk was originally set up by a group of fashion addicts who were fed up of not being able to find their favourite celebrity’s clothing at prices that they could afford.
The announcement of the new website is supported by a re-launch party in London on Tuesday 4th September from7pm at the Bacchus Pub and Kitchen.
The guest list features national favourite fashion brands such as Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Motel Rocks, Beau Bronze, Rare London and many more, as well as bloggers and journalists who will receive a goody bag of beauty and fashion products on arrival.
