Cotswold Based Public Relations Agency Scoops Respected Industry Award
Cotswold based 10 Yetis Public Relations has won a respected PR industry Gold award that was judged by peers from across the sector, for a campaign to promote a product invented in Gloucestershire.
10 Yetis Public Relations, based in Pullman Court in Gloucester, has won a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Award in the West of England Region for the category of
Best Campaign £10k and Under
The award was for the media campaign that the Agency ran to promote Gloucestershire-based inventor Vivian Blick’s H20 Shower Powered Radio.
Coverage for the campaign spanned across every media, including; television such as ITV, BBC, Discovery Channel and Scottish TV, every national newspaper, influential online media such as the BBC Website, Crunch Gear and Tech Radar and respected magazines such as Wired, FT How to Spend it, and Nuts magazine.
The CIPR West of England Awards were held on Friday 21 October at The Bristol Hotel.
Emma Kent managed the campaign and collected the award on behalf of 10 Yetis and said:
“To win this hugely respected industry award is the icing on the cake for what was a massively successful campaign. The team and I drew upon all of our experience to ensure that such a fantastic Gloucestershire invention achieved the high profile media awareness that it deserved.”
Andy Barr is the co-founder and co-Managing Director of 10 Yetis and he said the following,
“I am massively proud of the team for this outstanding success. Gold CIPR awards don’t come easy and it demonstrates the skills of the modern day PR professional, in that everything we did could be tracked back to a pound value to see the benefit to the client's bottom line in terms of product sales.
“The fact that the H2O Shower Powered Radio team put such faith in us by only using a public relations campaign to promote their invention speaks volumes about how successful our media campaigns have historically been; and it is even better that this was all done for a Gloucestershire based business.”
The Gold CIPR Award brings an end to an excellent awards season for the 6 year old company, that was also a finalist in the Gloucestershire Media Awards in two categories and had its own website listed in the Top 100 Most Globally Influential Websites by Marketing Magazine.
All of the media coverage achieved for the H20 Shower Powered Radio can be viewed on the Results section of the 10 Yetis Website.
