Over 600,000 people indulged in Cosmetic Surgery last year - 10 times more than just 6 years ago and this shows no sign of slowing down. However, 20% of UK adults who consider treatment each year end up opting not too as they end up confused by the myriad of choices and information available out there, with no official guidelines to follow.
The Good Surgeon Guide has been created to help users choose a suitable surgeon or clinic for invasive procedures, non-invasive treatments, cosmetic dentistry, laser eye correction, hair transplants and weight loss operations amongst others. Visitors can tell others of their experiences, upload before and after photos, chat, post questions, search, research, contact relevant services and recommend treatment providers as part of the free-to-use service.

Practitioners will be able to create profiles for themselves on the site, which will include contact details, specialities and more, to be viewed and reviewed by The Good Surgeon Guide community.
Users will be able to identify the enhancement they want, find a practitioner and read word of mouth recommendation from real patients before clicking to book a consultation using the online diary system.
The site is completely independent and is not affiliated with any hospital group, manufacturer, doctor or clinic, its primary aim is to help people feel confident and receive excellent aesthetic results, helping foster closer bonds between surgeon or practitioner and patient. The public are encouraged to be as honest as possible to help others make informed choices when opting for aesthetic surgery.
