Free Football World Cup 2006 Team News Guidebook for Journalists

Journalists covering the World Cup 2006 in Germany this summer can now find all those useful stats and quirky figures that the commentators trot out during matches in a free guidebook now available.

10 Yetis, a UK based creative company has prepared a free lighthearted reference guide with information about all 32 teams, from the Ivory Coast right through to Costa Rica.

The guidebook includes background information on each country, the key players to look out for, media opportunities and media threats for every squad, a quote in the style of the BBC’s very own John Motson1 and 10 Yetis verdict on the chances for each team.

Creative Director of 10 Yetis, Jill Tovey, said, “I often wondered how the TV commentators found time to come up with all those quirky facts and statistics and with our free guidebook all journalists covering the World Cup 2006 can save themselves the hassle of having to do the research themselves”.

She continued, “All journalists have to do is log onto the public relations section of the website to be able to easily download or print our handy guide to all 32 teams, we even learnt a few interesting facts ourselves such as; did you know that Costa Rica has over 200 airports without paved runways?”

10 Yetis hopes that not only journalists enjoy the guidebook with it being freely available for anyone to read.

10 Yetis specialises in translating quirky ideas and designs into commercially successful marketing, public relations and design campaigns and works with a wide mix of companies from fashion right through to accountants.
