The Eastgate Shopping Centre are currently offering male shoppers the chance to relax in a fully kitted-out man crèche, enabling them to relax, play on a PlayStation 3 and escape a long shopping trip with their wives and girlfriends.

In celebration of father’s day and the up and coming football mania, The Eastgate Shopping Centre is launching Gloucestershire’s first ever ‘man crèche’ in the centre for nine days only.  The man crèche will offer men the opportunity to relax, play on a PlayStation 3, or just provide a place to hide from their shopping-mad partners.

The man crèche will be in partnership with iMerge, Gamestation and Emmaus Gloucestershire, offering customers the chance to relax on a sofa whilst playing sport games on a Nintendo Wii; all courtesy of the man crèche sponsors.

Entering the man crèche will be straightforward; shoppers simply need to be a loyalty card holder at The Eastgate Shopping Centre, or sign up to become a loyalty card holder upon entering the crèche, which is completely free.

The man crèche has launched in the Eastgate Shopping Centre and will close its doors at 5pm on Sunday 17th of June 2012.

The £30 promotion will still be live throughout the time that the man crèche is in place and shoppers will still be able to receive the free goodie bag, containing a stress football, bottle opener and a pen, when they spend £30 within participating stores in The Eastgate Shopping Centre.  In addition to the free goodie bag; shoppers are entered into the free prize draw for a chance to win the ultimate VIP football package.

The ultimate VIP football package is in partnership with Cheltenham Town Football Club, Azure Chauffeur Driven Luxury Cars and Sky. The VIP package allows one lucky winner, and a friend, to be chauffer driven from their home to Cheltenham Town Football Club. Once at the club, the lucky winner and their friend will enjoy a tour of the grounds, a meet and greet with the team, a seat in the Director’s box to watch the game, and later a meal with the Director of the club; plus a 12 month free subscription to Sky Sports.

All terms and conditions of the man crèche and £30 promotion are available on request.

Speaking about the man crèche, Jason Robinson, the Centre Manager at The Eastgate, has said the following:

personal PR

We are all really excited here at The Eastgate Shopping Centre about the launch of the man crèche and we would like to publically thank all of the sponsors for helping to make this possible.

personal public relations

He continued,

“We have very loyal shoppers at The Eastgate so we like to give back as often as possible and make their shopping experience as fun and relaxing as we can. I have a feeling that the man crèche is going to be popular amongst all the husbands, sons, dads and brothers across Gloucestershire and there may be a demand for it to become a permanent fixture!”
