10 Yetis Examples of Good and more Good PR - Monday 17th February 2020

Monday marks the start of a new week and another fresh start, but I think it’s safe to say this weekend just gone is going to stay with us for a little while…

To help you get through the day, I’ve compiled some good, good and more good PR* today to make you smile and help you get through the day.

* Normal business of good AND bad PR will resume next week – I just want to spread some positivity!

Good PR

To celebrate it’s 20th birthday, one of the capsules on The London Eye is being turned into The King Vic pub; a whopping 135m high in the air (I’ve been on The London Eye, trust me – it’s high up!).

I think this is fantastic. You get 30 minutes in the ‘pub’ as you go the full circle.

But that’s not all; four other pods are being turned into immersive ‘WOW’ experiences, and the remaining pods will host one-off experiences that celebrate all that we love about London. Other interesting events include pampering sessions, cocktail masterclasses, a silent disco and even a spin class, while the kids can experience story time with Hamleys and even an ultimate kids birthday party, complete with balloons and face painting.

All proceeds from The London Eye’s birthday will be donated to Merlin’s Magic Wand.

If you go along, be sure to use the hashtag #EYETURNS20 – the event runs from the 6th to the 9th of March.

MORE Good PR

Disney have teamed up with Allure Bridals to create a range of Disney-inspired dresses, based around some of the best princesses; Pocahontas (my giiiiirl), Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana.

While the range is inclusive, offering sizes from 4 to 32 (UK), they aren’t all going to be within the price range of many of us brides-to-be. The dresses that feature in the Platinum collection range from £2,700 to £7,700, while the rest of the collection will cost between £920 and £1,900 – far more affordable!

All dresses are going to be unveiled at New York Bridal Fashion week in April, with sketches having been released already, and I can tell you that the buzz is electric!

Sadly though, they’re only going to be available to purchase in certain Bridal stores in New York, Toronto and other areas within North America.

EVEN MORE Good PR

Have you heard about the kebab shop that’s opened on a double decker bus in London?

Who fancies a boozy night out in London with me, that ends on the kebab bus?!

Last Stop Kebab is the brainchild of Firat Amara, linking the bus-come-restaurant to the supermarket next door that he also part-owns, ensuring that he has access to gas, electric and water.

Lots of the features have stayed, including the tannoy system which plays Turkish music, but many have had to be removed to make this the perfect kebab shop (all it’s missing is a toilet).

You can order a kebab, wrap or fresh salad every day in Edmonton between the hours of 11am and 3am.
