We are looking for a brilliant Social Media Account Executive to join our creative team and support our ever-growing client base. You’ll know your way around Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn better than you know your way around your own house; and you will know what it takes to run high-performing social media campaigns for brands (both organic and paid).

The Company

10 Yetis Digital launched in 2005 and has a strong heritage in creating and managing award-winning public relations campaigns. As we’ve grown over the years, we now have PR, social media, video, web development and graphic design teams in-house, to be able to offer a full range of marketing services to our roster of clients.

We are lucky enough to have worked with some huge brands over the years such as Superdry, GoCompare.com, Confused.com, carwow, Hillarys, National Trust and Lee Kum Kee (to name just a few). Due to a rapidly growing client base on the social media side of the business, we are recruiting for a Social Media Account Executive to service some of the exciting campaigns we have coming up.

The Role

Given that we are a small (but perfectly formed) agency (just 20 of us), this is a very hands-on role across many different areas. Not only will you have your own social media clients to manage, you will also help to look after the agency’s own social media and marketing campaigns.

You will help to devise, create, deploy, manage and report on social media campaigns and will work very closely with our graphic design and video teams in order to create content that will make our client’s competitors wish they’d thought of that. You will help support video shoots and the odd public relations event and some (fully expensed) overnight stays and travel can be expected when life returns to normal.

As a Social Media Account Executive, you’ll define content plans for clients to deliver the best results possible for their organic activity and strive for continual account growth. Our clients have big goals for their social channels and, therefore, someone with determination and ambition is essential for this role. Advertising across the channels is a key area of the role too and experience/knowledge of ecommerce brands on social is desirable. You will report to our Senior Social Media Account Manager, as well as the Managing Director and CEO, and be part of a fast-growing team producing award-worthy campaigns.

You will carry out daily social tasks, from creating posts, interacting with our clients’ communities, planning, optimising and running social advertising for the best CPRs and updating and liaising with clients on the tracking of their KPIs. Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks is essential, as you will be the lead contact on several accounts.

  • Proven experience working with Google Ads/YouTube and Facebook Ads (Twitter and LinkedIn is desirable)
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics
  • Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with Facebook events manager e.g., managing social catalogues and pixels
  • Account management/client facing experience
  • A passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest changes and algorithms

The Person

You are probably a graduate, but this is absolutely not essential. What’s more important to us is a minimum of 12 months of working in a similar social media role with social campaign advertising experience, either in-house or agency side. We are a small and highly collaborative team, so anyone who is able to work well as a team and also be self-motivated to succeed will be a great advantage.

You will need to wow us with your social media knowledge and prove that you always keep on top of latest platform developments and trends. Tell us about the social media tools you’re used to working with and why you would be a great addition to our team. Don’t be shy!

Experience of using Mailchimp for newsletters is also a handy skill to have. In addition to this, it would be great if you have had some level of experience in creating great content in terms of design or video; however, this is not as important as the social advertising knowledge due to the fact that we have design and video staff already. If you know about Search Engine Optimisation, that would be a great bonus too.

Oh yeah, great Engrish is also an absolute must! ???? You will be required to write content plans for clients which need to be free from spelling and grammatical errors, and you should also be able to adapt to the difference tones of voice of each of your clients and produce content that not only flows, but entices the viewer to engage.
