We are delighted to announce that Shannon Peerless has been appointed as the new Managing Director here at 10 Yetis! Shannon has been with the agency for more than 10 years, and has held the position of Head of PR for the past five years. Andy Barr will move into a CEO role, and Lauren Wilden will take over as the new Head of PR.
We have implemented the new management restructure as part of a review of our most successful year to date that includes growth plans for the next five years. 2018 was the best year since our 2005 inception in terms of growth and turnover. As part of her new MD role, Shannon will spearhead the company’s attempts to meet ambitious 5-year plans.
Our co-founder and previous Managing Director, Andy will continue to be heavily involved the day to day operations at 10 Yetis, under the new title of CEO. He will also be working on a several side projects that aim to benefit the wider growth of the agency and reflect the changing nature of the media and PR landscape.
Our expansion in recent years has seen the growth of the PR, social media, video, design and web divisions; with a team of 25 individuals who have carried out projects for the likes of carwow, Confused.com, Superdry, Optical Express, WaterAid, Huel and Gocompare.com.
Shannon, who started at the agency in 2008, will now be at the helm of the agency’s continued development and growth and will be tasked with reviewing processes and operations to ensure the effective delivery of campaigns and projects across the board.
There are plans to recruit more staff over the next 12 months across the video, web and social teams and the primary focus will be on business development. Lauren Wilden, who has been at the agency for six years this month, is the agency’s new Head of PR.
Discussing the changes, Andy commented:
“Shannon has been at the forefront of the agency’s growth for a number of years and has been amazing to work with. I have every faith that, under her leadership, she will go on to do great things for 10 Yetis and help to take the agency to the next level.”
On her new Managing Director role, Shannon says:
“Having been with the agency for 10 years now, I’ve seen how 10 Yetis has grown and changed over the last decade and it’s been a pleasure to be a part of that. I’m both excited and honoured to have the opportunity to play an even bigger role in the agency’s future; one which I’m confident will be both bright and disruptive in all the right ways. For Andy to give me this chance means the world.”
