10 Yetis launches two fully independent news platforms, BeautyAnswers and Jogger

Digital public relations agency, 10 Yetis Digital has today announced the launch of two fully independent news and review websites, Jogger.co.uk and BeautyAnswers.co.uk. The sites have been fully launched following on from a successful ‘proof of concept’ trial in 2020 and as part of the company’s expansion into wider digital media campaigns alongside its core offering as an agency.

Jogger.co.uk is a website dedicated to all forms of cardio-vascular exercise and has product reviews and information alongside editorial articles. BeautyAnswers.co.uk focuses on the health and beauty industry and has reviews and news articles. Both websites are edited by Melissa Austin, 10 Yetis Ecommerce Executive.

Both websites encourage freelance writers to pitch paid-for feature and story ideas and the content on the sites is also taken from press release pitches sent to the editor, Melissa. The content is not just limited to 10 Yetis clients and the editorial function for these two sites sits outside of the agencies public relations and social media teams.

In late 2019 and early 2020 the agency began testing its ability to create publisher platforms as part of developing its wider understanding and testing of its own Search Engine Optimisation services. The first domain that the company secured was Jogger.co.uk and once a site had been created it commissioned several freelance writers to create stories and content for the site.

The pandemic resulted in the proof-of-concept project being put on hold but it is now being relaunched in 2022 alongside another recently secured domain, BeautyAnswers.co.uk. Whilst both platforms have not been launched purely for revenue driving purposes, they do use affiliate links to monetise some of the content.

Speaking about the launch agency co-founder Andy Barr said,

“Not many agencies put their money where their mouth is in terms of creating actual stand-alone media assets, but we have long had the belief that in order to be able to offer a service, you need to actually prove you can do it and there is no better proof of our search engine optimisation skills than the launch of these two sites”.

He continued,

“Over the last 16 years of running 10 Yetis we have got more and more involved with ecommerce and pure publisher clients and today’s launch helps us to keep across and ahead of industry movements and developments”.

Melissa Austin joined the agency in 2021 to exclusively work on the company’s growing ecommerce campaigns and has a strong background and knowledge of the health and beauty sector.
