After recently becoming Managing Director of 10 Yetis Marketing and PR agency in Gloucester, 29-year-old Shannon Peerless is now celebrating having been placed within the top 10 of the 30 under 30 list from national publication B2B Marketing.
Having joined the agency at the age of 18 after completing her A-Levels, Shannon has spent more than a decade at the company and is now approaching her eleventh year with www.10yetis.co.uk. She worked her way up to the position of Head of PR at the agency by the age of 24 and was most recently made the agency’s Managing Director after a management restructure.
Her long-term commitment to the company has seen her deliver and oversee consumer-facing and B2B campaigns for the likes of Confused.com, Gocompare, Just Eat, Kashflow, carwow, Totaljobs, WaterAid, Optical Express and Hillarys Blinds.
B2B Marketing whittled the 30 under 30 list down from a longlist of 75 names that made it through the first round of vetting and an even longer list of nominees; and once the official ranking was unveiled Shannon had secured 7th place.
The agency recently celebrated its 14th birthday and has secured 11 new clients in recent weeks; demonstrating an exciting growth period for 10 Yetis, which specialises in PR, social media, video, SEO, content, web development and graphic design services.
Shannon Peerless, Managing Director of 10 Yetis, spoke about the recent accolade:
“It means a great deal to me to have been featured within the top 10 of B2B Marketing’s 30 under 30 list, because after so many years of hard work at a company that I love, it’s great to get recognition from outside of the business for the effort and dedication I’ve put in. I’m very lucky to have had a home at 10 Yetis for so long and I owe much of my success to the agency’s founder, Andy Barr, who has been a great mentor to me over the years. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had over the years and this new challenge of the role of Managing Director.”
Andy Barr, founder and CEO of 10 Yetis, said:
“We always give our staff lots of praise and recognition internally, but it’s fantastic when that comes from a different source. Shannon has been a great asset to the agency over the years and has been an integral part of our growth and success.”
