Anyone who knows Jilly or I will know just how much we both really, really hate any form of face to face business networking. We are both not really natural sales people and if the truth be known, not really pushy enough when it comes to selling our business. We have the (probably wrong) attitude that people who want good work and know us will realise we can help.
Anyway, today I trudged off to my second ever 4Networking event and my god it was good. Ok, there was a bit at the start where I thought two blokes who were there were trying to be the Chuckle Brothers (no names mentioned), but once everything had settled down I got some quality leads from it and also some very good advice.
I can safely say that this is the first face to face networking event where I have literally bound back in to the office, raring to go and really motivated.
The online forum is quite good, if not a bit blokey, but the offline 4N is much much much better and I reckon you should give it a bash.
