10 Yetis can spot a good Harry Potter PR stunt when they see one

It has been announced that JK Rowling, author of the best-selling 7 book series, Harry Potter, has penned a prequel, which is sure to please fans!

It is however only a short 800 word long piece, written on both sides of 13 A5 storycards. The new text is one of 13 story outlines written by famous writers for a charity auction to be held by Waterstones on June 10, where any money donated will go towards charities English Pen and Dyslexia Action.

Rowling has been quoted as saying that she is determined the prequel will not be further developed, although sad-act Internet authors are bound to have a crack if they have any idea of the gist. Other contributors include famous authors such as James Bond writer Sebastian Faulks and Nobel laureate Doris Lessing, who were asked to submit anything for the event, be it a doodle or a new story.

The prequel is expected to go for a fair amount, and just highlights how an event we would have not otherwise heard of can be bolstered!

The really, really real Harry Potter.
