Our interiors specialist blind client, Hillarys, last year created an online tool that look at the cost of Christmas over the years. Being so well received last year, they've recently updated the site to include the data for 2017 and we've begun pushing it out again. It's had lots of interest, generating coverage on the Daily Mail already (as can be seen below).
The Cost of Christmas Past looks at how much things cost previously (put through an inflation calculator so you can compare in today's money), including Christmas trees, Christmas dinner, the hottest toy that year as well as how much an orange and a lump of coal cost.
You can play with the tool here: 'The Cost of Christmas Past'
