Our client Optimus Performance Marketing is the largest affiliate marketing company in Europe, and recently conducted a study that highlighted the finding that females are twice as likely to engage in affiliate marketing activity in the future compared to their male counterparts.
The study polled a total of 632 females and 589 males who all ran their own websites or blogs, either for professional or personal reasons.The ages of people taking part ranged from 18-60, and even though 86% of the participants had at least a basic understanding of how affiliate marketing functions, only 14% of the male respondents and 6% of females had experience of using it in the past.
