Online sports equipment retailer Sweatband.com has had some great target media coverage this week and we want to tell you all about it. You'll often read our posts on this blog about coverage we've achieved for clients via surveys, products or thought-leadership pieces.
One other great way to achieve target media coverage though, is to offer competition prizes for the press to make use of. In the case of Sweatband.com, target media includes men's health and fitness publications, so when we heard that one magazine was looking to do a giveaway for readers, we jumped at the chance.
Sweatband.com offered some quality exercise equipment as a prize and Men's Fitness magazine featured the competition on a full page within the latest issue. Sweatband.com also received great logo exposure in the piece, so competitions are definitely a good avenue to go down in PR activity.
