With today being Christmas Eve - the last official working day before the big man comes down the chimney and we all stop singing about how many sleeps there are to go - I wanted to share with you some great coverage we've had the past few days that are festive-related.
The first is a piece in Weekly News using a story and infographic created by our client, Hillarys, that looked into what Santa's Workshop would look like (and cost!). Including fun stats such as he'd need 296,443 elves, each making four toys per hour, in order to get everything done for the big day, and that on his travels he's likely to consume 9.6 BILLION calories.
Following that, Alertr - our price-tracking client - recently unveiled their research highlighting where to do your food shop for the big day this year. While the story originally got tonnes and tonnes of coverage, it got picked up again yesterday by the likes of the Express as it's being reported that supermarkets are sending out odd replacements instead of sending shoppers their chosen turkeys in their home deliveries. Some have been getting gammon, some have been getting turkey drumsticks, and I'm just waiting to hear that someone got sprouts instead!
* If you're still on the hunt for a festive bird this year, I've seen tonnes in M&S and Aldi btw.. if that helps.
Both articles can be seen below, if you wish to peruse.
We, all at 10 Yetis Digital, would like to you wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in 2020 :)
