Todays choices from Rich, who hasn't been in the GPR/BPR hotseat for a while!
It has been everywhere. For weeks.
Tonight sees the return of Bianca to Eastenders, and Albert Square, reuniting one of the most loud and intense characters ever portrayed on TV with timid little RICCKKKKKAAAAAY. It should be a ratings winner for Eastenders, as I haven't gone a day for the last couple of weeks without hearing about the gobby ginger's return. Soaps really aren't my sort of thing, but Eastenders' PR team has done a good job of pushing it to the forefront of the nations minds.
Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Harriet Harman has today been criticised in the press for wearing a stab vest in her own constituency of Peckham, South London. She was surrounded by 3 policemen during her walkabout of Camberwell and Peckham, and claimed that she was only wearing the Kevlar-reinforced stab vest to be polite as all of the officers were wearing them. Yeah right. Where's your hat then, missy?
If she can't trust the streets of her own constituency, how can she expect them to trust her?
Explaining a complicated political issue, or bragging? You decide. Either way, she looks unimpressed.
