Boris... he has vowed to reign in the cost of the Olympics coming to London and met with the IOC yesterday as part of their jolly, sorry, I mean tour, to see how we are getting on.

Boris, being the educated man that he is, gave the IOC holiday-makers a bit of Olympic heritage in Latin. Apparently he said, "My approach will be in line with the Olympic motto, 'Citius, Altius, Fortius, sed non carius'" which translates to "Faster, Higher, Stronger, but not more expensive"

Good old Boris...

Plod and Planet Scientology ganged up on a GCSE student who was waving a placard outside the Scientology offices on May 10th as part of a formal protest against the religion. The student had the word "cult" on his banner so plod marched over and handed him a court summons and stole his placard as well. They police quoted Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 and handed him his notice. For those, like me, who does not know what Section 5 is... here goes:

It is an offence to show, "any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby".

As is the way of teenagers our anonymous hero replied by quoting a High Court Judgement from 1984 from Justice Latey who said Scientology was a cult, amongst many other derogatory terms. Plod did not care for his jive talk and still gave him the court summons! It is now up to the CPS to decide if the case is strong enough for the kid to appear in court.

This is blatently the hand of the high up policing Scientologist's getting the boys and girls in blue to act.

That is the same Scientology people who believe the following on how humans were created:

The alien Xenu, according to Scientology founder (and speculative fiction writer) L. Ron Hubbard, was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of his people to Earth in DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs.

Says it all really!

Scientology holds that their essences remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm.
