10 Yetis Missed Out On This Booze Up...

Boris Johnson made an election pledge to curb drunken antisocial behaviour, and true to his word, one of his first policies as Mayor of London was to ban alcohol drinking at the city’s underground network, buses, trams and Docklands Light Railway.

So, as predictably as ever, we Brits saw this as an excuse for good old British knees up – throwing a massive party on the underground resulting in 17 arrests, 6 closed stations and a trail of broken glass.

Personally, I struggle to see how this new crack-down will prevent ‘socially unacceptable drunkenness’ and I can’t imagine that drinking just on the Tube is what gets out of hand, but the sheer volumes of alcohol consumed before and after.

10 Yetis now have to reschedule their Christmas Party plans...
