I noticed that the Guardian seems to have started some form of Olympic Logo backlash support by first of all devoting a double page spread to the topic and finding a branding guru to come out and say how wonderful the new logo is!
Must have been tough to find :-)
If that was not enough on the Guardian Media podcast more support could be found, specifically by Emily Bell the Guardian Online editor. She was citing her own experience of re designing the home page of the Guardian's website as an example of people always complaining about changes.

Apparently even though the Guardian's home page changed a while ago now she still gets a hardcore of around 40 people a week emailing her saying how rubbish it looks.
As for me, I am still not liking the logo, think it looks like vomit.
