10 Yetis Outing to see Hot Fuzz – Funniest Film since Napoleon Dynamite

So, off we went to go and see Hot Fuzz last night and what an incredibly funny film it is! At the weekend I saw Spaced which allegedly got the ball rolling for Shaun of the Dead and I have to admit I just didn’t get Spaced at all.

That being said Shaun of the Dead was one of the funniest films I have ever seen, but I would say that Hot Fuzz topped it. I am not going to spoil the plot but it had loads of funny twists and turns, plenty of top notch cameo’s, Steve Coogan, Martin Freeman, Stephen Merchant, Bill Bailey and plenty more. For me one of the best things was that it was set in the South West and I think it was filmed in Ross on Wye.

I can see why some of the Daily papers are panning it as it basically takes the Michael out of their readership, but for me it was spot on. I wonder how long it is before they both end up directing and Hollywood blockbuster.

A cracking film.
