10 Yetis Proud to See Gloucester MP Parmjit Dhanda Getting National Media Coverage

Our local MP, Parmjit Dhanda (pic below) got himself a bit of good national coverage today by saying that schools should have plasma screens showing MTV and other “yoof” culture gubbins to get more kids to eat healthier food instead of going out to buy junk.

Sounds like another Labour gimmick, but I can see what he was trying to say and fair play to him for doing his bit to raise the profile of our home City, Gloucester. I didn’t realise he was Education Minister though. He rising up the ranks, could he be a future Labour Prime Minister?

If you are ever in our neck of the woods remind me to tell you about the time we saw him in town one evening as he got abuse of some of Gloucester’s finest Community Support Officer’s. Top stuff.

Parmjit Dhanda, MP for Gloucester
