Now I have to admit from the start that I get Heat every week and I am, like, totally, soooo addicted to it. In the past Heat has been a big campaigner to rid the world of Size 0 models and generally made the point that being skinny is not the be all and end all.
With this in mind I have been disappointed over the last month or so to see front page articles trying to make out that they support celebs that are slightly over-weight but I can’t help feeling that they are just dressing up the fact they are saying “look at these people, they look bad†as they know the pics on the front pages will increase sales.
Cake anybody? Cake? Anybody…. Cake?
The mag bangs on about how much they support and like people like Fern Brittain but I just feel a bit uneasy about it all.
I know celebs have made the decision to put themselves and their life in the limelight, but do they deserve to be plastered on the front cover of a mag with their tummy hanging out? Age old debate I guess.
