10 Yetis Worries About Highest UK Profit Warnings in 6 Years

Pretty much every major UK news channel is covering the story put out by Ernst and Young that the number of profit warnings put out by UK companies is at a 6 year all time high.

Apparently at the start of the Dot Com crash in 2001 there were around 230-odd profit warnings put out by companies and right now in 2007 there have been 191 so far.

There is still some way to go until the economy reaches the problems it had in 2001, but it is a sure sign that interest rate increases and tough trading conditions are making it difficult.
