I have been debating if I want to blog about this since the story broke because I don't want to get into any debate about sexuality.
In the end, I decided I had to really as it has so much PR info surrounding it.
So, Lord John Browne has stepped down as Chief Exec of BP after a court order was lifted allowing media to reveal details of his private life.
Once the court order was lifted the Lord resigned but, quite rightly, not because he was gay but because he lied in court, I think about his sexuality.
So, in my mind he was wrong to lie but I can see why he did. He did it because he knew certain media would absolutely hammer him if he came out and his career could be over.
So... what do others think? Was he correct to resign?
