Monthly Review - July 2006

And what a month it was!

July was a strange old month, our design work was exhibited twice and we were finalists in a national design award. Our PR campaigns kicked on, the most notable being a large scale regional attack for TribeWanted that went better than expected and meant some frantic times spent trying to run round and co-ordinate media interviews with radio, television and press journalists.

As ever, cuttings will appear here as soon as possible.

We also sent a tech story around for KashFlow and it got picked up in some of the tech industries most well respected sites and magazines, obviously we are really pleased.

We have a few secret projects on the go that we cannot really talk about yet, but gor blimey, they are fun... and in terms of new clients we won a three way pitch to scoop an account with a retail business that is going to be real fun as they have a really good niche.

August is our year end and it seems like time has flown by since we made the leap to a Ltd company. With it being year end we are getting all our financial records up to date and will be sitting down soon to start setting in place the campaigns that will help us acheive our growth plans for 2006.

Talking of campaigns, we have set up a really unique site as a kind of experiment to show how good our viral campaigns can be. Keep your eyes peeled for various things appearing in the press and online. Once we have run the campaign for a period of time I will show a breakdown of the different marketing elements and the return on investment (in terms of interest) so people can see which areas performed the best.

We are also trialing Google Adwords for the first time in August for a few of our business areas, and again, once we have an idea of ROI I will post it up as I know how frustrating it can be to try and work out how much these campaigns cost.

So there was July, here is to August... touch wood, the summer slow down has yet to hit us, lets see how long it lasts.
